The Educational Information System – BILIS for short – serves as a central hub for all relevant school and student data and represents a milestone in modern data management. For this purpose, a data warehouse was developed, which consists of several individual applications and intelligently brings together all data. The core components of BILIS include a job manager, a metadata system, and a state-of-the-art reporting cockpit.

The current IT systems for social services as well as child and youth services of the federal state are based on two separate applications that have been in use for over 15 years.
